SOS Children's Villages
SOS Children's Villages: The world's largest orphaned and abandoned children charity SOS Children is a charity helping children with absolutely nowhere else to turn. It is a charity which stays long after the TV cameras have left, and has more than fifty years of achievements as a children's charity. Today, nearly a million children worldwide directly benefit from SOS and around 60,000 depend entirely on SOS for a home, family and future. SOS Children support children in the community with "home support" for child-led families (where the parents have died of HIV-AIDS), medical care, food security projects, schooling and training, trauma counselling (for children caught in conflict) and other support.
